Looks like you can walk straight across the lake bed to the Famous Tree.

Looks like you can walk straight across the lake bed to the Famous Tree.

There‘s absolutely no water there. The ground is dry. It is possible to walk everywhere. In fact, a few people did just that. As long as there was some water, it wasn‘t allowed to get near the lake, because of migrating birds.
