picture "peg/map" style view?

is there a way to show the older style location peg labels on my photos? there is no "places" tab at the bottom of the screen. only way is to go to years, then it tells where pics where taken. I like the old map style better

Have you tried swiping the date field from right to left it then brings up a map with small photos showing the location
