Not receiving texts that have pictures attached

My iphone 4s, on Verizon, is not receiving texts that have photos attached. Can not receive texts with photos attached, from either another iphone 4s on ATT, or from android on Verizon.

Contact VZW. Your account has a SMS only plan attached to it. Probably an oversight, accident or you just recently switched to a smart phone from a dumb phone.

Regardless of the cause, calling *611 will allow you to talk to a VZW rep who can fix it. Usually in under 10 minutes.

thanks!....I looked at my iphone 4s Settings and I did not have MMS enabled, only SMS....I think that fixed it, as I was just able to receive a test text and photo from a friend!

Since it is one of those settings that is "on" by default, I didn't even think to mention checking that.

Glad it was something simple!
