Not notifying with right tone

I finally got my phone to notify me with new gmail but it dose not use yhd tone I picked it uses something different my wife's dose the same thing??

Some apps have/use their own tone. And you can't change it in phone Settings > Notifications. Only if the Gmail app settings offers a choice.
