Not enough free space to sync...

I got this error message when trying to sync my iPhone 4S this morning. It seems there is an easy fix for this, but I cannot recall it this morning! Can anyone give me a tip?

BTW, the message itself is bogus. I don't lack for space on the computer, or on the phone!

Check your read/write permission for the directory that your backup is created in. Also, if need be, run iTunes as Administrator.

Just got done verifying the volume. It says the volume appears to be okay, In green letters.
