The developer build of iOS 4.3 that was released yesterday has already provided a wealth of information about upcoming iOS features, with MacRumors today uncovering something called Find My Friends, which appears to be associated with the Settings app and has something to do with MobileMe. MacRumors speculates that this may well be a similar service to the likes of Loopt or Google Latitude, which work in conjunction with your phones GPS signal, enabling you to locate your friends on a map and likewise have them easily locate you, provided you or they want to be located, of course! Such services are becoming increasingly more popular, so it would make sense that Apple would be wanting to introduce its own version. Also, Steve Jobs stated last year that MobileMe would get a lot better in 2011, and it looks like thats already starting to happen with the addition of this new Find My Friends feature.
