My iPhone isn't blocking its number!

Sometimes when I call someone I get a message that says the number I'm calling doesn't accept calls from a blocked number. My number isn't blocked from being displayed. How can I fix this? It's an old iPhone 3G.

Maybe you don't have a blocked number, but your name doesn't show on their end. That could constitute as a blocked call. A possibility maybe?

I don't know but it's frustrating when I can't call someone from my iPhone, as has happened a few times with various numbers.
