My computer wont synch to my iphone

It doesnt charge the phone nor does ITunes even come up. Its almost as if my computer isnt recognizing the phone. I have heard it could be a "driver" issue. Could someone here please help me with that?

Open up your Device Manager, head over to the USB ports, uninstall the ports, reboot your PC, reinstall iTunes.
