[FONT=&quot]Thanks to TUAW for the heads-up on a game that passed me by when it was released in June, but which looks like a lot of fun for Marvel fans! As the game is currently on sale for $2.99 for the HD iPad version and $0.99 for the iPhone version, it seemed like a good time to check it out. Basically it’s a series of very simple mini-games where you get to use the powers of Marvel Super Heroes to fend off the attacks of cyber-bot versions of some of Marvel’s greatest Super Villains. For example, you can slash with Wolverine’s claws, rebound blasts with Captain America’s shield, capture with Spider-Man’s web and smite the hapless with Thor’s hammer. The game, which is made by Smith & Tinker and Marvel, features 23 classic play levels, three boss levels, an Arcade mode, and Game Center leader-board integration. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]It’s very simple to play, and could get a little repetitive, but I can see Marvel fans enjoying the art style and gamers in general enjoying the pick-up-and-playability of the game. Free updates are promised too with new Super Heroes and Super Villain cyber-bots.[/FONT]
