So you think you know your bights from your bends, your loops from your hitches? Test your knot knowledge and ropecraft with this app! Don't know much about knots? That's ok! The animated knots show you how to tie them and a hints button tells you what the knot is used for.

Announcing Animated Knots 3D now available on the app store!

We had a lot of people ask us if we could do a reference version of our popular Knot Quiz app and decided, why knot, I mean not! Except we couldn't just stop with the drawing, we added 360 degree rotation of the 3D Knots! Look at the knot at 45°, 90°, 180° or anywhere in-between! In addition to the knots themselves, there is lots of information on strength and reliability, structural info, Ashley reference numbers (ABok#) and knot tying pointers and sometimes the history behind the knot.
