Install KuaiDial! One of the most amazing phone addons ever.
Just type a name from your contact list in the dial pad in phone.app. T9 functionality.
Then Swipe through the numbers and you'll see all the contacts that corresponded to the letters you typed.
Much more than that, but that's just the best part.
Have to have "Activator" and "SBSettings"
winterBoard (have to install "Barrel" to fix the lag on SpringBoard, in iOS 5, but "Barrel" is awesome too!)
iFile is an absolute "must have" Cydia application!

KBShortcuts (once ya get used to it typing has never been faster and easier!)
Caffein 2 (activator action to prevent phone from locking after so long,, very useful for downloading apps that are big and take time)
Backgrounder (NOT THE ONE FROM Cydia! You will have to find the beta deb for iOS 5. Causes 1/4 screen on every reboot, but a swipe with SBSettings>power>safe mode, then unlock & tap restart. Fixes it every time. Bug worth having to have a perfectly working Backgrounder on iOS 5

NoVoicmail (I use the YouMail app from the app store so I don't need that voicemail tab in my phone app.lol)
Wififofum (will come in handy, trust me)

And a great web browser to use is "Yandex Opera Mini" I know gay name, but it's nice.
It will come in handy if you phone reboots to a none jailbroken state since Safari & Mail apps don't work after reboot to a none-jailbroken state. (not recommended to use the Safari patch, but to each his own.

Well I have more than that, n my phone is running flawlessly.
