That Apple would make a device that requires a PC to connect to so photos can be deleted.

Am I right once you create an album, put a photo in it, the only way you can delete it is to connect your phone to a PC with an iTunes account?

Why the heck does it have to be so complicated?

you can delete photos in your phone,just send them to trash.

It does not appear I can delete any photo I transferred to my phone using iTunes. No trash can is available.

That is correct - if you put the photo on your phone using iTunes, you can only remove it using iTunes. You can delete photos you get form other sources (take a picture, off the Web, from e-mail); just not when/if you use iTunes.

It's the main reason why I don't use iTunes to manage my pictures...
