Issue after factory - Please Help!

Hi Guys,



I've got a Business Customer that has a batch of iPhone 4's and some iPhone 5S that they have factory reset. The phone is still asking for the old users Apple ID which they, for intensive purposes left their company. Is there any way of getting round the fact that the phone is asking for the apple ID even after this has been reset?

There's no way around iCloud activation lock. The iPhones have to be removed from their former owners' iCloud ID/Find my iPhone, or else you won't get them working.

Unless... they can provide the ORIGINAL proof of purchase of the devices in question. In that case, call AppleCare and ask how to upload or mail-attach the receipts so that they can be verified. If successful, the respective iPhones will be remote-unlocked by Apple.
