iphone7+ refuses to accept valid password for wifi !!

We have tried all the steps meantioned to fix this issue where the phone repeatedly says invalid password ... including a full reset. Nothing works ... up until today it worked just fine on this router without any problems. Even reset the router. Ideas??

Have you tried resetting the Network Settings on the phone?

Does your iPhone have any trouble signing in to other WiFi hotspots?

If your iphone works with other wifi/hotspot, then maybe your router have restriction only accept certain MAC addresses that registered in router’s setting.

And your iphone MAC address should listed there in order your iphone can connected.

Another workaround just switch off MAC address restriction on your router.
