IPhone - iCloud - Calendar Prob. - Please Help!

I have iPad2, my wife has iPhone4. Calendar entries placed on the iPhone do migrate to the iPad, BUT calendar entries placed on the iPad do not go to the iPhone. As far as I can tell all settings are correct on both devices, but I must be missing something. Please help, thank you!

Everything is checked on I cloud on both devices? I always wondered if we need wifi on or does iCloud automatically do it!
If not than maybe wifi is the culprit????
I'm not a pro lol but love troubleshooting.
