Iphone 5 restore

Hi. I had an iphone 3 which was synced to my laptop as 'Jess'. I then got an iphone 5 which i had icloud turned on. I synced the iphone5 to my laptop, backup 'Jess' and the photos i took on the 5 have been replaced by everything from the 3. Can i get them back?
