iPhone 4 and radio apps

I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 7.1.2. I managed to download absolute radio onto my iPad and iPhone but it doesn't work on my iPhone. When I press the play button nothing happens. My music app plays my tracks ok. Radio player will play bbc radio stations and iplayer radio works ok but not other commercial or local stations. Please can anyone help.

Are you outside of the UK? They do not stream outside of the UK as they are not funded any where else.

Have you tried deleting and re-downloading the app? Maybe the app didn't download properly the first time.

Yes I have tried it 5 times.

You can try contacting the app developer to report your problem. It's possible that a bug in the app could be preventing proper use of the app. If you live close to an Apple Store you can also rule out the possibility of a fault in your iPhone by making a Genius Bar appointment to have a full diagnostic done.
