I don't know about adult emoticons (though they'd be fun!), but to access stock, go to Settings > General > Keyboards > International Keyboards > turn on Emjoi. You may have to download an Emjoi app (there are many free) to unlock. When typing there will be a globe symbol at the bottom left of keypad next to spacebar to toggle keyboards. Once unlocked you can delete the app.
