Engadget reports today that Napster has launched a universal app for all iOS devices in the US iTunes App Store. The app is free to download, but has a $10-per-month subscription fee if you want access to the complete library of $10 million plus full songs on offer. Once you've paid the fee, you can listen to the tracks as often as you like and in whatever order you like. Here are some of the other features of the app:

  • Save songs, albums and playlists to play offline
  • Save your last 100 songs played
  • Automix your favourite song to create an instant playlist blending similar artists
The app also allows for unlimited access to Napster on the web from any browser, and you can use Napster on any connected computer, compatible TV, Blu Ray player or other compatible home audio product. New customers can try the service for free, and then get a 20 percent discount if they sign up for the Napster Plus Mobile Access Annual Plan.
