ios and wirless sync

Under general wifi sync, mine is greyed out, my pc is on, itunes is open and my phone is connected to my wireless network, any ideas why it would be greyed out

Connect the iPhone to that computer with the cable and under the summary of iPhone status verify there is a check on Sync the iPhone over Wi-Fi.

Check your firewall on your pc and make sure wireless devices are checked.
