I downloaded iOS 5 in early October & since I have noticed a significant battery life drop. I can literally watch the battery drop.
So about two weeks after I downloaded iOS 5, it was reported that Apple was working on a new iOS. That came out this Wednesday. I downloaded it over the air, and afterwards I was very happy to see that it was charging faster. But taking it out of the charger is an entirely different story. Two minutes after I took it out of its charge, it already decreased one or two percent.
I have my brightness rather low, location settings off, my email only checks it self every hour, and I am not constantly on the phone or texting. That worked fine before iOS 5.
I know that others are having this problem and Apple is still trying to fix it. But if you are having/had these problems, too, how did you resolve it? & how fast is your battery draining?
