stuck in waiting for activation and can only send sms messages

Try turning iMessage and Facetime off, then toggle airplane on, wait 10 seconds, then toggle back off. Then try iMessage again.

Try signing out of iCloud, then sign back in and try iMessage again.

It seems to be working fine now, maybe it was just a glitch
