icloud question

how can you view what photos and videos you have in iCloud? I have done the thing it says on internet by switching on photo stream but it doesn’t bring any photos up so where can I find them?

I know photos get stored in photos but all them stay on iPad and iPhone if you log out of iCloud.

Go to iCloud.com, sign in and view them from there. You will need to do this on a Mac or PC.
