I have 13.6 Gig's used and 41.2 Megabytes available, but i have no apps downloaded???

Hi there, i just bought an iphone 4s a month ago, everything has went well until 2 days ago. I try to do a software update and it says i need atleast 1gig of avaiable storage. Now i only have 3 apps downloaded and 1 contact, i have no music, photos,etc. Im very confused, what should i do? Thanks

I have never heard of that.... I would say try doing a factory reset since you have nothing on there to lose anyway. I supposed there could be some sort of a memory allocation glitch or something.

Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings.

Also might try a hard-reset. Hold Home and Power until it turns off. Ignore the slide to turn off. Once off, hold power for 2-3 seconds.

If you try it, let us know if it worked or not. I have no clue what else might help short of RMA.
