How to play videos taken from iphone on my desktop?

Hello guys.

I have taken a video by iphone 4s which I will sent it back to my friend in China.(I'm in the UK)

However, I found that after pasting the video to my laptop, it can play, but there is no voice. However, if played through iphone, it has voice.

What's wrong with it?

I don't have Mac.

Do you have volume on anything else on your computer? That probably sounds like a dumb question but you would be surprised how often that happens.
