Now that we have iOS 4, we have multitasking. With this ability we are able to switch through apps while leaving them to open in the same place. The problem is, they stay running in the background with no warning. Without this tweak you need to tap to close on all the apps you have opened to save battery. Remove Background allows you to tap once to close all of you apps. This saves battery and memory. Enjoy this free tweak on Cydia.
 
umm, watchdog kills background apps that are using up too much memory anyway, it's like a part of the coding of iOS, even if they do appear in that thing. idk if that changes when you jailbreak though
