How much do Cydia apps slow the phone down and drain battery?

i dont think its the apps that drain your battery, but its more so themes, and tweaks that would make more of an issue on your battery drain, but this is just what i have heard from doing some looking around, although i do know that if some apps are running in the background depending on what app it is it can do some massive drain, but i could be wrong, so if someone can correct me please do so, i still have a lot of learning to do
