Help with daughters iphone

I recently purchased an iphone 6 for my daughters birthday and a diagonal smudge is on the screen. Any help would be appreciated!

Did you buy this phone used? The iPhone 6 I believe had issues on some phones. Screen issues, and so on.

Yes, it's a refurbished phone from a reputable user on ebay. I wasn't sure if it was a quick fix or not as I'm not an apple user myself.

It stays stationary. It's not there with a screenshot either.

That means that your screen has a hardware fault and probably requires replacement. Did you get any sort of warranty with the iPhone?
