help with 3G

hi all nebie here but have had iphones just upgraded from 3gs to the iphone 4 but am not getting any 3g out and about have read the manual that says go into settings then genral and then into celluer but it seems i cant see the celluer bit to go and change is there any outher way i can do this or does anybody have an idea whats wrong works with wifi fine would be gratefull for any info and help

Welcome to the Forum. I have an iPhone 5 and the Cellular is right there in settings/general. Sorry I don't know what else to tell you.

Try settings>general>network that's where it is on my 4s

hi again went into settings but there is no network looks like this

about
software update
usage
mobile data
vpn
itunes wifi sync
spotlight search
auto-lock
passcode lock
restrictions
date and time
keyboard
international
accessibility
and the very bottom has reset hope this helps anyone

That's strange. What iOS version are you running. I'm on 5.1.1 and mine looks like this

hi again it says all updates are upto date how could i cheuqe and do you think i could reset but it looks nothing like that
