Guitar Hero is Coming to iPhone and iPad

Toy-rockstars rejoice! Activision Blizzard Inc. announced on Tuesday that it would be bringing Guitar Hero to mobile devices, as well as consoles, after a five-year hiatus.

"Now fans can unleash their inner rock star anytime, anyplace using a phone or a game console", said Chief Executive Officer Bobby Kotick. Activision claims that the new game will eighty-six the old cartoonish characters and instead feature live footage from previous concerts in the background.

The new Guitar Hero game is said to cost $99 when it releases. Not much more information disclosed, however the new toy guitar will feature brass-like parts and a black pick guard, something not seen previously in any Guitar Hero game.
