Origin8 announced today that their latest iOS sci-fi strategy game, Sentinel 3: Homeworld, will be released on Friday November 26 to the app store. The third instalment of the award-winning Sentinel Tower Defense series sees the conflict moving to the alien homeworld where new weaponry, abilities and the heroic Commander unit will prove crucial to the outcome of the epic interstellar war.
The game features an all-new campaign with 20 levels across 14 maps, a powerful new Commander unit which can level up and gain customizable stats and abilities as you play, and over 20 unlockable turrets, orbital ship weapons, automated drones and abilities at your disposal. The game doesnt just end when youve completed all the levels either, as there are Endless modes for all maps with online highscores, as well as ahchievements, global scores, friends and more via Game Center and OpenFeint. You can even use OpenFeint to view strategic layouts from the leaderboard and study the gameplaying secrets of the top players.
The graphics are simply stunning, as you can see from the screenshots, and this time around they have full Retina display support too.
