Thanks for the welcome. I have been a blackberry user for 8 years. I was so tired of all the battery pulling, at least once a day, just to keep the phone running halfway decent. The day the iphone 4s came out I got a vzw torch 9850, 5 phones and 2 months later I quit! I have heard nothing but good about the iphone so I thought what the heck. VZW treated me right on the torch return with the contract purchase on the iphone.
I look forward to the forum. I have found these to be very informative and sometimes entertaining.

Welcome, Tim.... Like you, my iPhones were my first Apple products. I miss many of the "Windows-type" features, but overall, it's a great device. I'll be in the market for the iPhone 5 next year! I will have several hundred questions on how to transfer all my iPhone 4 data to the new unit.
