Know Your Mobile reports that according to Japanese manga magazine V-Jump, Final Fantasy fans can expect two more FF games to appear in the App Store for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad sometime this spring: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, and Final Fantasy III. Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions was previously released on Sonys PSP back in 2007, whereas Final Fantasy III is the classic NES game that was also released on the Nintendo DS. Fans might remember that FF Tactics was actually due for release back in September 2010, but Square Enix pushed the release back to Spring 2011 to give them time to improve the UI and playability. Final Fantasy III, it should be noted, is the original Final Fantasy III, and not Final Fantasy VI, which was previously released on console in the US as Final Fantasy III. Square Enix has today confirmed that FFIII will be released in March, but has yet to confirm a specific day or even month for Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions.
