Face Time app

Hi guys,

I brought my iPhone 4 from zain Kuwait
And I'm using it with idea india
My issue is I'm not able to install face time in device
Appreciating your guidance

Face time is part of the os and is not an app for downloading.

Never used it yet one person tries and reply was op couldn't get connection ;(

My cousins have one I'm going to ask for a time to do it lol

Agreed FaceTime is no app! It's in your phone!
Go to settings you will see it.

Make sure your connected to wifi. FaceTime does not work over 3G

Go to settings scroll down to "face time" click into this and make sure it's set to on!

If all else fails restore your phone with iTunes.

It doesn't have any option to turn it on and icon is also missing.

Facetime is not authorized in Kuwait. Apple is not allowed to sell phones with that [stock] app loaded there. It's a government thing, not an iPhone/Apple/app thing.

UPDATE: My bad. Evidently, two carriers, Zain and VIVA sell the iPhone and their web sites claim Facetime works. According to what I read, both carriers say they offer Facetime. This is very recent (Kuwait Apple doesn't show Facetime), so maybe the older phones won't have Facetime - and the newer ones will? Unsure...

Try to install Facebreak from cydia..I also have the same problem but it has been sorted out now..enjoy

Don't they have to have ios5 to have it. It is part of messaging. It is not going to show up as an icon and it will only show up if you are messaging someone else who has IOS5.
