There is a dialling out issue with recently acquired iPhone 11. It won't dial out from Contacts. Can only do so from WhatsApp.
Apparently it might be some sort of blocking issue. Researched info says the facility for doing this is with the network. It's not in the iPhone. However, EE says it has no facility for blocking out going calls.
When dialling out the message received is:
‘Calls from this number are not being connected.
'If you have dialled correctly I am afraid the number is not
available from this network’.
