Delivery/Read Receipts for Text Messages

Is there any way of setting the phone up so that I can see when a message has been delivered and received? I know I can set it up so that people can see whether I had received/read there message but not the other way around.

I have just upgraded from an HTC and it was easy on that phone.

If your jailbroken, download delivery report from cydia. Yeah, i wish it was easier and in native settings

You can with iMessages, just not regular SMS. To toggle this or iMessages, go to Settings > Messages > iMessages (turn on iMessages if not already) > "Send/Read Receipt"
