Default Email and SMS app question

I don't know if it is there and Im too dumb to find it, but can someone tell me if it is possible to select all messages and delete them, rather than having to delete them one by one? Thanks.

SMS is the easy one.

On the screen that shows all the people you have conversations with simply swipe the person you want to delete to the left. Hit the delete button and all SMS for that person is gone.

You can also hit the Edit button on the top left and then hit the red/white minus sign on each person to delete those converations.


Email is not so easy.

You really only have the Edit button and the ability to select the emails you want tag for delete and then hit the delete button. Little slower than SMS but it works.

Ah yes with iMessage now in the equation, it is now possible to have two conversations with the same person but with different internal IDs. Good catch.
