copy and paste

hi how can i copy and paste on the 4s phone? it wants to only copy the highlighted word. and i need the whole text copied.

Tap and hold the blue dot at the end of the selection, drag it down as far as you need to extend the selection. You can do the same with the other blue dot if you need to. Tap and drag the other direction. When you've got all of the text selected tap "Copy".
