Contacts and Facebook

My contacts have been taken over by FB! Email addresses have been changed, phone numbers deleted (if the FB account holder doesn't show one) and my smart group settings no longer work. Does anyone have a fix for this? I am using IOS6 on a 4S.

I will say that my contact list sucks compared to Android which was more concise and easier/faster to either select call or message. What I have is three to four entries for the same contact. Silly

Do what I did. Go to setting go down to face book and where you see contacts make sure it is shut off. Then I won't mess with your contact list. I had to do the same thing because it screwed up everything in my contacts list. Hope this helps.

This happened to mine too. After I turned off the FB link most of my contacts corrected themselves.

But check them - I still had some where phone numbers & addresses were missing & new contacts that were only FB "friends".
