Contact issue

Hello all,First let me apologize if this is a repeat post,I DID do a search but can not confirm my problem was solved before.
I currently have 5 phones on my account(Family plan)I am having a problem with contacts being erased on my phone by another family member erasing them on their phone,I think the problem is that we all share the same APPLE ID,But i wanted to be sure,Plus everytime i add an app on my phone it appears on everyone elses phone too,How can i correct this?I'm wondering if i need to give everyone their own email on itunes of a new apple id?Any help would be great,Thanks

Every iPhone should have it's own id. Having 5 phones on the same I'd make a mess on iCloud.
