Things have been looking good for China recently, as Apple finally received the necessary licenses to sell the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Our favorite fruit company was aiming to sell the devices on September 19, however was unable due to regulations in the country.

Apple announced earlier this week that folks over in China would be able to pre-order the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on October 10, with the devices finally going on sale and shipping October 17. However, it seems the three major carriers in China; China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom are ignoring Apple's October 10 pre-order date.

"We are thrilled to bring iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to our customers in China on all three carriers at launch", said Tim Cook in a press release. "With support for TD-LTE and FDD-LTE, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus customers will have access to high-speed mobile networks from for an incredible experience."

The three carriers are already taking pre-orders and have surpassed nearly 2 million units within the first six hours. The number of units is looking good as the 64GB model of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus cost nearly $1,000 USD in the country. Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus officially launch on October 17 in China, we'll be sure to keep you posted on the number sold.
