Check out this really cool story on CrunchGear today. All those old-school gamers who have made the leap to gaming on the iPhone and iPod touch are really going to get a kick out of these bespoke iPod and iPhone charging docks that have been hand-fashioned from old PlayStation DualShock and Nintendo 64 controllers. These are just two of several in the Rock Dock range, which includes an Atari 2600 dock, a Mario Bros dock and a NES dock, among others. Simply connect the included USB cable to your computer to charge and sync any iPhone or iPod (but not iPod shuffle, unfortunately). I would they that would look pretty sweet on your desk!
The Rock Docks can be ordered from the maker GeekUnique at Etsy.com for $29.99 for the DualShock Rock Dock (try saying that quickly!), and $25.99 for the Nintendo 64 controller, plus shipping costs, and yes, they do ship outside of the US. You might have to be quick though because Ive got a feeling theyll be going fast.
