Case-Mate has today announced its new range of Recycled iPhone cases for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. The cases are made out of rPET (recyclable PET), i.e. 100% recycled post-consumer PET bottles, meaning that the PET ends up protecting your precious iPhone rather than at the bottom of a landfill.
“As part of our greater effort to encourage more sustainable practices, we’ve introduced a line of fashionable, functional and environmentally responsible cases,” said Shashi Reddy, Case-Mate’s Chief Executive Officer. “By creating Case-Mate products using recycled materials, we’re helping millennials stay stylish and environmentally conscious.”

The cases cost $30 each, and come in Lipstick Pink, Tangerine Tango, Lime, Turquoise, Black and White, with one recycled water bottle being used to make each case. Case-Mate will also be highlighting this new collection as part of the DASANI Designed to Make a Difference experimental tour, which consists of approximately 50 event days out at various college campuses, amusement parks, and music festivals, from April through to October.
