Canit connect to dialled landline numbers

Parents having issue with iphones - they cannot conect to dialled landline numbers from their iphones - any solutions?

I haven't heard of anyone having that issue. Can you be more specific about who is having this problem, and how many users? I would suggest they check with their phone carrier. It's likely on their end, rather than an issue with the iPhone.

Could it be they don’t dial in 1 plus the area code? in my area that is not required even when in the same area code regardless of what cell company you use..
