Can someone unlock my iPhone 4 through at&t for me???? THanks!

I don't have a contract with at&t and when I called them they stated that I have to be a customer or previous customer, which i am neither. So can someone help me out with the unlock please? I want to use my iPhone on tmobile but I can't get at&t to unlock my iPhone. Help please!
