Calendar / MacBook Sync not working

For the last day and a half, nothing I put in the MacBookPro Calendar show up on my iPhone5. Everything before that showed up as usual.

Has this happened to any of you before? I will appreciate any help or suggestions. I have quite a few doctor appointments, etc. every week.

If you use iCloud to sync your calendar events between both devices, go to Settings - iCloud, and make sure Calendar is enabled there.
Go to www.icloud.com on a computer, open Calendar and look at the entries there, ensure they're visible. If they are, disable Calendar in Settings - iCloud on your iPhone, restart your device and enable them again. It's also possible to go to the Calendar app and force it to update events. In Calendar, tap Calendars at the bottom (make sure the calendar you use for your entries is enabled), then tap and hold somewhere, and slide your finger down. A small circel at the top will show you that the app is syncing events.
Tap "Done" afterwards.
