Blocking certain apps

I did a search but couldn't find anything.
Does anyone know if there is a way to block certain apps from being downloaded to an iPhone or iPod??
I know you can restrict use of the apps that come with the phone but I am after a way to block other apps from iTunes.

Time out! Are you telling us that apps suddenly download to your iPhone without your consent? Perhaps I just don't understand your question, or.........

No, my problem is.......my son is 14 and has a 4th Gen iPod touch. I caught him downloading porn video's on Safari so I disabled safari in the restrictions settings but now he has been downloading the Google app and looking at stuff through that. I could take away his Internet privileges by changing the Wifi password but then he can't play his games that require Internet access.
I just think that at 14 he's still a bit too young to be looking at that kind of stuff.

I think you need to talk to him and come to some solution other than having the device do the parenting. He will find ways around any block.

I have done that, and have grounded him from his iPod. But boy's will be boy's!

You said it right there mom. :-/ As it was mentioned above... no amount of restriction or blocking is going to keep a determined teenager from getting where he wants to go. Hopefully the two of you can work something out. Ok... no more Dr. Phil talk from me. LOL!!
