I have used https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id398383945?mt=8 and https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id342643402?mt=8 over the last 18 months. But they haven't updated to support the iPhone 5 yet. Keep hoping they will.

You have to go into settings, privacy, photos and turn on the app that you downloaded to access your photos.
