The only thing AppStore battery apps can do is give you tips on saving battery life, or show you battery life stats.

There's no battery app that'll actually improve your battery life on its own.

Darkstar, how do I get a better battery life? I was lucky the other day and in a chatroom on wireclub, someone was able to help me figure out how to turn apps off to save battery life, but since purchasing my iPhone 4 used Saturday, I've noticed that the battery life drains faster than I expected it too.

There are free battery apps that explain how to extend the battery life. The general premise is to exhaust the battery to BELOW 20%, then charge to 100%, then let it charge up to two hours beyond that 100%. I'm not sure the exact time as I use an app that shows me what it's doing. Search the app store for battery. The free ones are just as good as paid
