Can any one please tell me why and how Apple can tax us (at least me) twice. I buy iTune cards and pay tax on the card when I purchase it. then when I use the card to purchase music or apps on iTunes I am charged tax on that purchase as well. I may not be the smartest but that is double dipping. Any one that can shed some light on this would be great. I emailed apple and awaiting a response. Thought I would see what you guys, gals know. Thanks.

Actually that isn't Apples fault. Where you purchased it from is at fault. They treated the iTunes Card as a taxable product instead of a tax exempt gift card. You should bring that to the attention of a manager at the location you purchased it.

+1 on not Apple's fault.....I worked at Target for a while when I was in college and there is no tax charged on iTunes cards or any gift cards for that matter. If it was a $15 iTunes card, they paid $15 for it. You should go back to the store and tell them whats up...

I've never had that happen. A $15 iTunes card was $15.

Ok, thank you guys. I will take it up with the store.
